Usually great, but it took us an hour to get our food and when asked why the table next to us got their food before us, they explained that there are "two kitchens", but no apologies. An hour for food from one kitchen and 30 minutes for the other and they think this acceptable?Really disappointed Arbuckle's.
We went here on a whim - Friday evening with a toddler could have been a nightmare but actually it was lovely. We were seated in a booth, although busy the ambiance was family friendly.We've never been to an Arbuckle's before and I was surprised at how clean, modern and specious the restaurant was. Two mains and two deserts, coffees, orange juice and thick milkshake came to approx 50. Good sizes, good choices on the menu for vegetarians and vegans. On the other hand my husband loved his steak and said it was cooked to perfection!Finally, great staff. Friendly and responsive.Can't wait to come back and try their breakfast menu!
Very welcoming and the service was excellent. I had a sirloin steak with chips and sweetcorn and it was OK, but just OK, nothing special. In all honesty it isn't my type of restaurant but it obviously appeals to most people judging by how busy it was.
Excellent service, food was quick and delicious. Portions were very good for the money you pay. The server we had was amazing, friendly, funny and tentative, he got the resteraunts attention and sang happy birthday to my mum- she loved it! The sweet potato fries are to die for, the steak is beautifully cooked and melts in the mouth and the chicken is beautifully cooked too and melts right in your mouth! The sticky toffee pudding is also very nice, my dad said this is the nicest sticky toffee Ive had in a long time! Would definitely recommend, and definitely will be going back there soon!
First visit to Arbuckles this evening 5.12.18 and it wont be our last. Friendly welcome and nice staff all throughout our meal. The food was amazing Fantastic portion sizes and very good value for money from food to drinks and deserts. We went on recommendation and what a lovely restaurant very nice inside and also very clean, we got asked where we would like to sit and weather we wanted a table or booth which was nice, we opted for a booth very nice and snug. Top marks for Arbuckles very impressed cant wait to go again and also try the breakfast
